But the blog page is pointing to the old version of the theme . Weird. https://www.asinboat.com/blog/

I finally got back into my site by creating a new user. Not sure why WP never sent me any links to reset my password. Anyway, I undid the mess I made. Now, back to my original issue with the homepage displaying a page I can’t see or get to. I changed the Reading setting back to Static Page, even though I didn’t adjust this myself before.
Now, even when WP Customise is showing this for the theme LandingSiteFree which should be my homepage:

Instead, it’s showing this odd template page from the theme here: https://asinboat.com. I cannot find this page to edit. Regardless, still stumped as to why the theme isn’t showing the page I have asked it to show live. Any ideas? Thanks.

In reply to: WP showing old page as homepage and can’t find page to update itThanks. I tried changing the password using Functions file through FTP but it hasn’t worked and now no longer recognises my email address. Do you know where the Users info is stored? Thanks.

I’ve messed more up since then…. by changing the site address to point to the page /home and I couldn’t get into WP page http://www.asinboat.com/home/wp-admin/ I changed the settings back in Functions and am able to get to http://www.asinboat.com/wp-admin/ but can no longer log in. Password seems to be rejected and I can’t even get a new one from ‘Lost your password?’ – I have tried 4-5 times with some registered email addresses. No email back from WP to reset my password.
Do I have to do a fresh install and start from scratch?
