This is a great idea.
You need to go to the plugins page and deactivate it there.
You need to use the plugin WP Rollback and rollback to version 2.3.5 to solve this issue. There are thousands of people having problems and there is no fix at the moment, other than going back to the latest working version of Yoast SEO which is the one I recommended above.
Right now the only solution is to stay on 2.3.5. There are thousands of people having problems with the plugin at the moment and no solutions other than what you just did.
Ok, thanks. I will keep it in mind as I need to move away from Yoast due to all these issues.
@barnez, does it have a sitemap generator?
It has to do with the latest Facebook update, i don’t think it’s relevant, I wouldn’t waste my time on it.
This is not related to Yoast plugin.
You need to use the older version 2.3.5, they are having problems with the current versions of the plugin.
You can use the plugin WP Rollback and this will solve most of your issues.
@neosoft, you’re welcome 🙂
You need to click on the default description to be able to edit it.
@neosoft, use a plugin called WP Rollback, it worked like a charm for me, this is what everybody is doing.
I am also looking for this feature, have a side for homepage/categories/pages and another for posts.
Yes it has been. Thanks for asking and making sure everything has been taken care of.
@compactdrums, WP Rollback solved the issue. Thanks a lot.
