In reply to: [Groups] 404 instead of no permissions messageI don’t know, I ended up using a different plugin
Ignore, I have posted on support site
Ok, just tried my (duplicate) test site, which still had older version of Wordfence and that was working fine. Updated to latest and performance setup disappears.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Remove address field for downloadsThanks, I was hoping there would be something a bit simpler than editing code, it seems such an obvious thing to have in a shopping cart.

In reply to: [Groups] 404 instead of no permissions messageThanks, I just this minute found that, but sadly it doesn’t work
See:
https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/redirect-apparently-works-but-still-404-content/
And it doesn’t appear to be supported at that forum

In reply to: [mb.miniAudioPlayer - an HTML5 audio player for your mp3 files] FontThanks pupunzi. That is what I thought (using inspect elements) however it was not working.
I just did some experimenting and it seems to wrk fine with fonts such as Arial, but it was not working when I used a Google Font, although that font was fine elsewhere on the site.
I may have found the reason:
I have an .htaccess redirect which strips any query string from a URL.
Thanks for the reply.
I am now only getting the “The file doesn’t exist; check the URL” message,
There are no strange characters or spaces, the files are on the same server.
See:
https://petethomas.co.uk/test2
The other message only happened a couple of times, however can you poease exapling what this means:
plugin is not able to set a session token that is read from the page that should download your file.
Now I am (sometimes) getting a different message:
Something goes wrong, you don’t have permission to use this page, sorry.
Sorry, my mistake again.
It does work. I forgot, obviously the link needs to be added when using the text editor, then switch to visual editor to select it and use the miniaudioplayer button!
You can ignore and delete this thread.
I have just noticed, sometimes the URL does not immediately turn into a layer in the visual editor, so I am able to select the link.
However when I then click on the miniaudioplayer icon, I get this message:
Select a link to an mp3 file to customize the player.
Even though a link is selected (and the link works fine on the actual page)
