In reply to: [Livemesh Addons by Elementor] Post carousel dissapear when logged inIs it a problem? Waiting for response.
I couldn’t determine what is causing the conflict. However, I have noticed that Elementor was updated twice within a period of 2 days because some conflict with some plugins were detected (tehy didn’t say which ones). This was about 2 days after we have detected the problem.
Anyway, since we had to fix this urgently, we have replaced the Livemesh plugin by another one (the Elementor “Publications” plugin).Hi,
The discussion should continue on this other thread :
https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/post-carousel-dissapear-when-logged-in/
IMHO, it’s the same problem.

In reply to: Permanently deleting a custom capabilityDone. Thanks for answering. I was just wondering whether there’s another way of deleting an unused custom capability beside fiddling with the database.

Using the Roles & Capabilities extension (author : Ariel).Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Livemesh Addons by Elementor] Post carousel dissapear when logged inI just discovered that the problem occurs with any user having the manage_options capability enabled. It is that capability that triggers the loading of the Elementor common-modules.min.js script in a page. But disabling this capability for administrators is not an option anyway.
The Livemesh plugin obviously has a problem with this script. Not only there’s a display problem but I also noticed that it kills the site’s main menu until you go back to a page not using the Posts Carousel plugin.
The Elementor script has been recently updated (about 10 days ago). Reverting back to the previous version of Elementor could probably be a temporary fix. Since the problem only affects administrators, we have decided to wait for a fix. If it doesn’t come, we’ll replace the Carousel with something else.

In reply to: [Livemesh Addons by Elementor] Post carousel dissapear when logged inHi,
Do you have the problem with all accounts or only when logged in as admin ? See these 2 threads :
https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/posts-carousel-only-1-post-per-row-whatever-the-settings/
More about this issue : the problem may occur with any role/user having the manage_options capability. This is what triggers the loading of the above mentioned script.

In reply to: [Contact Form Block] MeowCommon_Admin is called too earlyI also have this problem. Anyone here also using Admin Menu Editor (Janis Elsts) ?
Renaming the script file fixes the problem but I don’t know how risky this is. This file seems to belong to a list of useless files mentioned on some forums.

I also reported this issue to the Elementor team :
https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/new-common-modules-min-s-script-causing-trouble-in-livemesh-posts-carousel/I also reported this issue to Livemesh.
Problem spotted but not fixed.
Elementor pages loaded when logged in as an administrator (and only in that case) contain the following script line :
https://capcgaleries.org/wp-content/plugins/elementor/assets/js/common-modules.min.js” id=”elementor-common-modules-js”>
This line causes the Posts Carousel to malfunction. When removed, the extensions works correctly.
More about this issue…
The problem only occurs when I’m logged in with an administrator account. Otherwise, the Posts Carousel plugin displays normally. What could the user role have to do with this ?
