In reply to: HTTP Error When Uploading ImagesI went to the uploads directory and it was already set to 755. All the sub-dirs inside it are 755. There is a htaccess1 file in the uploads directory that is marked as 644.

I installed the plugin. Here is the things I found that I think could need looking at.
1. PHP Version 5.6.37 – For best performance we recommend using PHP 7.2 or higher.
2. Under Debug I got : Total installation size 7.20 GB- Some errors, likely caused by invalid permissions, were encountered when determining the size of your installation. This means the values represented may be inaccurate.
3. Under Filesystem Permissions – The uploads directory Not writableIs there anything else I should be specially looking for?

I tried reinstalling WordPress from the dashboard update tab but that did not fix the problem.
I can go and delete the error log files like you recommended.
