Thanks, Pepe! Yes, definitely a full backup before I connect the plug-in. One I go through my products to make sure every product/variation has a SKU, I’ll do the backup and go from there.

I will have to decide which category best fits each product, since Square doesn’t support products being assigned to more than one category/subcategory. (But that’s no different from our current POS anyway…)

    Thanks….I think we’ll be ok…

Thank you for reaching out. Yes, the following is what I read somewhere:

“Meanwhile, please be informed that, unlike WooCommerce, Square does not support multiple attributes.”

My confusion is that Square does support multiple “option sets” (their version of attributes from what I can tell). Furthermore when, I sync’ed a variable product from WooCommerce that has two attributes to generate variations, all those variations came through, and Square groups those variations under the parent product.

Granted, the actual attributes do not transfer, but as long as the variations sync and are listed as choices under the parent product, that’s what I want. I’m thinking that the important thing is to use attributes to create all the variations in WooCommerce before sync’ing to Square.

Does that seem like I’m understanding this correctly?

Thank you…..I wasn’t sure if it was a problem when I got the notice that the store was already connected to a WordPress.com account (my admin one). But I proceeded and it looks like both of us can now use the mobile app with our shop. (Much easier for her than going into the WP Dashboard…)
