In reply to: Feedly not pulling RSS feedInoreader works. Feedly support is not responsive and says that they can’t do anything. They blame the host. The host says they’re not blogging Feedly and ever so often (Λ10 days) Feedly will connect to my blog, but it’s hit and miss still.

In reply to: Feedly not pulling RSS feedHmm. I am still a bit confused. My feed always worked with http://theinbetweenismine.com/feed before… I don’t know why the redirect is now changing that behavior.
Also, Feedly still doesn’t update for me…. a friend confirmed that she got 7 (!) notifications just yesterday for posts that were posted over the span of 8 days.
So, it’s possible that the WP installation is behaving correctly, but Feedly is not doing something right?Forum: Everything else WordPress
In reply to: Feedly not pulling RSS feedThanks for your response, JesΓΊs. The problem is, when you first add it, it pulls “some” feed, but it doesn’t update to the lastest one (there are currently the last two posts missing) and as you can see, the last few posts show as if posted on the same day (which they were not).
There is also some odd behavior depending on how you add the feed.
If I put in http://theinbetweenismine.com/feed/ it pulls different information than if I put https://theinbetweenismine.com/feed/.The first one also shows “unreachable”, after I added it.
I am trying to figure out if this is a WordPress problem, or if the problem is with Feedly. Their support originally said that their IP is blocked, but my hosting company confirmed that it isn’t.

In reply to: Excessive GET requestsThank you for the reply. I had already contacted support but they hadn’t been able to figure it out – even though they said they could see that the requests were coming from their own hosting server.
I did some more digging – the usual “trial-and-error” stuff and figured out last night that a plugin was the culprit. Would have expected for support to find this/suggest it, but oh well.

In reply to: MySQL and hosting issueNo, I couldn’t install wp-cache yet, because I don’t have access to my account. I asked the support team to reset my account and start from scratch… then i could try and use wp-cache and see if that prevents the problem.
@ smartbhupi: thanks for the info!

In reply to: MySQL and hosting issueI contacted the support on Serversea and got the following reply:
“Yes, we support php 4.3.9 and MySQL 4.1. The mod_rewrite support is also available.
The problem appears with WordPress database that is causing for server overload. We can reset your account to default. All data in this process will be lost.I am not sure how to debug as this product is not designed by us. It is an open source application (WordPress) and you can find information of product and report problems at wordpress.com.”
I was using a theme and maybe 3 or 4 plugins… why wouldn’t that be possible with the server?
