But if it is what I think there is a padding in the clearfix class. you could fix that via custom CSS.
Having the same error here. Disabling the plugin make the error go away (but the page does not look as good as before)
My bad, it Was Jetpack that is making somethin go wrong when I activate it!

You should do this change in a child theme so if the theme is updated the change is not overwritten.
