Thanks. Have the same issue with free verion and spent time trying to debug. The free version will backup or clone the prod (all on same domain, and in a subfolder) as a.b.com/stag1. when we try to access the cloned (staged) site a.b.com/stag1, it is askng for a setup again. I guess we will need the pro version to test and perhaps put in lot of time to verify the push to prod. Dilema.
