It eventualy worked; but took way too long to load on the page.
This happened because the javascript took time to load on your server. There might be some other plugins which might be interfering with Snow My WP. Are you using a dedicated server or shared hosting for your site?

I tested it on the local server and it works fine. But even after deactivating all the plugins on the live server, the jquery calendar doesn’t pop up. What might be the issue?

I downloaded the plugin from the repository and uploaded the entire folder as I had the same doubt. Also tried it on localhost with the single installation but no luck. What may be the issue do you think?
