I can’t help you with your current problem but I have one with the general event listing which seems to work on your site:

http://www.labri.nl/wp/nl/113-2/
There are the listings of future events in the different languages. How did you get this to work? Because this exact thing doesn’t work on my site. Unfortunately I can’t post links here because it’s a company site and not published yet :-/
But here are screenshots of the german and english page. As you can see the english version works just fine (there is just one event added for now). But on the german version there is nothing.
