Where would I tell my admin to look for the relevant logs?
Not running multisite.

Thanks for the reply. No it wasn’t disabled. It entirely disappeared from the Plugin management page in WP and from Tools, yet the “redirection” folder was still in the Plugins folder on the server.
Disappeared overnight, hadn’t run new updates.
I removed the folder from the Plugins directory, downloaded the Redirection installation zip from ww.wp.xz.cn, and installed it. It works and the redirects were in the DB, so they work after removing and reinstalling.
I’ve never seen a plugin just disappear like that while it’s still in the right folder on the server. Weird.
We’re on WP 4.8.3 Theme is based on Divi (up to date). I guess this can be marked resolved as we got things working, but wish we knew what caused it. Leaving open for now in case you’d like more info about the environment.
