Disabling Yoast SEO plugin definitely resolves the issue for me and I also have WP Smush enabled. Thanks everyone!
I am wondering if this is something that should be reported to the Yoast SEO plugin team or to WordPress?
I am marking this as resolved as it doesn’t seem to be a theme issue.
