Same for me this morning. I updated with confidence and then … critical error. It was on my blog (WP6.9.4 and PHP 8.3). I’ve managed the bug, waiting for a solution. But I have this plugin installed in few others websites. When do you think it will be ok, with a new new version? Thank you.
Are you sure that the version 3.0.1 is ok, I’m scared now. I wonder if I should find another plugin . . . just in case. Waiting for other testimonies about it.
Hi @desrosj To help, I uploaded the last version again. And made captured. But it is simple: for all pages already published or for a new one I create, it is the same look in the draft: totally white content, and no block can be added. I can only click on the + and the sidebar with the options appears, but when I choose one (either in the basic Gut, or those of another added plugin), no block comes in the content; only the menu appears sometimes (not with “paragraph”).
Q1&2- Yes, both. Q3 – No pattern (layout all hand-made) not template or model. (Neve theme, but started from zero) PHP 8.3 Q4 – Page.
When I try to edit published pages, the draft view shows a blank page of content, except when I hover over it. Then, black lines appear for adding content (+). That’s all. For the page with a banner I added and a background red color, and with the new version of Gut, when I opened the draft, I could just make out a vertical line on the far right where the banner should be.
Exactly the same problem than the other, empty screen, but no error message. Under WP 6.9.1. Important: I’ve just uploaded Gut on another website of mine, that is still under WP 6.8.3 and it works! I do not think it is a question of themes.
Hi @fvbussel, You can upload a plugin for that. For instance “Rollback” is easy and works well. Once installed and activated, this option will appear alongside Enable and Remove in your Plugin list. Then you will be able to downgrade to the version of your choice.
Gutentag @elisun I’ve just updated WP version to 6.9.1 and it works (with Panoramic 1.1.88). – either Panoramic last version (1.1.89) do not work well with WP or PHP. But I think it is really a little bug from this theme last version. You have PHP 8.4! Maybe if you downgrade to PHP 8.3 or even 8.2, it would be ok (via your hosting). First question: what was your last action in your admin? Second question: did you create a theme-child to design you site?
I can navigate in all your pages and your site do not show any bug. Now if you can go to your admin (backend), you upload the plugin WP-Rollback and you activate it. And when you go to Apparence>Themes : you choose Panoramic button back return appears when you click on the button “return back”. (you will have the choice of an older version).
If you can not go to your backend admin, you have to go to your FTP where you can directly manage your files. Try any way one by one, step by step. You can also go to your hosting, and ask for a older backup of your database. It is weird that you can’t rich you admin. Tchüss
Resolved. I uploaded the plugin WP-Rollback that helped me to downgrade to the previous version of Panoramic. Now I have to go slowly to compare the compatibilities (php etc.) Nice day.
Hi @elisun I can see that your website works fine. How did you do to repare the error you had? As for me, I am still with WP-version 6.8.3, but I got PHP-version 8.3. My site is made with Panoramic theme. Precisely with a child-theme. And this morning I just updated the parent theme Panoramic to 1.1.89 as it needed. Unfortunatly, as it was working perfectly before, my blog in not well visible anymore. So I wonder if I update WP to 6.9.1 or I downgrade to PHP 8.2 to try and see. Hi @anupamkhatua First of all, thank you for your answer three days ago. For information, the error warnings are indicated by a plugin test that I use for ages and that is great: Plugintests. Whether for version 5.7.47 or version 5.7.48, nothing changed and the same warnings are still there. Hello @anupamkhatua Same worry for me: for one year, all your versions have a warning when testing, as well as the last one (5.7.47): 2 PHP warnings ans 1 PHP notice. PHP Error Log for exemple:
