Hello, i have the same problem, so i’ve edit the plugin a little to add support to google drive images links, this works input the link of google drive in the format:

https://drive.google.com/open?id=XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX,File Name

Is the only form that it can read for now the links from google drive, but it´s works, remember include a filename from your image separate with a coma like the example

And, yes is an unnoficial update made by me, so install it under your own risk
