Hi, final update!
WP RSS Aggregator has proved to be a wrong turn – I dont doubt that this plugin would do what we were looking to have it do, however, it was too limited without the pro version of the plugin, and this was more expensive than I was interested in paying. In particular, This plugin treats turning bbpress posts into wordpress posts as a pro feature – therefore I would say that while it may well work as a do-all option, if you are buying all the additional features, it definitely does not work in an affordable way.
However, I found another, which does the same thing, and turns its posts into WordPress posts – WPeMatico. While this has pro features, they are for far more advanced options and it appears that it is possible to use the free version to do useful things.
It is going to require me to add far more filter and sorting stuff, as it is going to greatly increase the amount of content on my site (only using stuff that has legal permission to be reproduced of course) but this is a fantastic solution – for anyone looking to do something similar.
If anyone suggests a better way to do this, I’d be interested, but for now, I’ll just use the webpage implanted into mit.
Sorry for the delay in responding, I am hoping to put this plugin in tonight, but I believe that it will do what is required (the only question is whether it will ruin my wordpress posts moving them across. I will try to report back in the next week
hi, that’s for the prompt response, I’m well aware of the loading issue. Basically, I run a wildlife travel website (that’s the aim anyway), i blog, and make listings for a many wild places on the planet i can.
I have a number of members areas, and one is for members who have listed a wild place – i want to have this available alongside my blog. Links to another page might work, though possibly the best solution, was to transfer my blog into bbpress and have them all within bbpress.
I do have some tabs at the top, with maps on, but i couldn’t put my blog in one. I’ll try the bbpress route
wpforo doesn’t seem to work. Im thinking along another line (I’m going to post it as a question today)
I couldn’t find your email, I presume in a front facing forum you can’t tell me, but I can’t raise it, as I don’t know what to email
thanks for the prompt response, I can display them separately anyway, so that largely destroys my interest. Still, could you tell me how to pull and display bbpress posts
thanks Jeff, yes I think we’ve got things working (still fiddling, but i think got the idea).
may well ask some more in the future, but fantastic plugin
Thanks for the prompt response, I don’t think that is quite what I was asking (if it is, please give me some more details).
Basically, as I say above, I am using user submitted posts to create listings for people – I am trying to get it to create as similar a page to the ones which I have created for users we already have (but, if the website is to succeed, these will be too numerous for me to create each one by hand). This is relatively simple, and I have been able to build them (even with a little code, I was able to add carrousel for my images – though I am unsure as yet how to make my images from the user within the form go straight into the carrousel automatically, if you have any suggestions this would be helpful). Indeed, I would say that in general, your plugin is fantastic, for making something that would otherwise be rather complicated, and turning it into something relatively simple.
My question was slightly different. Basically, given that this website is aimed at wildernesses around the world, I am trying to keep it as light as possible on internet speeds, so on these hand created pages, I have included a form to email plugin, which can take all the pertinent details for the booking, and then when submitted, simply sends the page owner an email which includes all of this within it. In other words, a booking, is literally that, someone expressing interest in visiting the listed place and booking their future visit, I just need a way to collect the right information and then email it too the lister (I am merely a go-between, so the data needs to send). What I am looking for, is a way to do this within User submitted posts, without having to go into each one individually and add this form.
I hope that is clear? I am using user submitted posts to create pages, which will contain a listing, and I want to be able to include within the page a form to email – so that when they have built their page, and I have published it in the right place, readers can book by filling in a form to email.
If I have misunderstood your response do explain how it will do this. Otherwise, apologies for being so unclear last week.

If most of these plugins can do this, I have clearly not been able to understand. Has anyone got a contact form plugin that they have used to send a predefined HTML email? I have only asked the question after spending multiple hours looking for exactly this, and installing multiple plugins that include suggestions that they would work with HTML email.
My aim is really very simple. I want to find a plugin which will allow me to have a box for people in a hurry to add their email address, when submitted, I simply want the plugin to send my html email to the email given.
Any suggestions of a plugin people have used successfully for this would be greatly received. Thanks in advance for any help
I have full armember, it took a while to get building – but I own the paid version. My site has 3 members areas – members will be able to friend other people in their members area, but i want to be able to give them the ability to follow people in the other members areas.

sorry to ask and answer my own question, but I’ve done found an extremely similar question, which I think will solve it.

I’ll close this in a couple of days, if I manage to make this work
I’ve been using the standard elementor form builder, and while I’ve played with a variety of page builders (i got the furtherest with user submitted posts, but I’m flexible), I’m not far enough along to be attached to any of them – I can use any you recommend (though I don’t want to spend more than essential to get this working)
I would add, we have 3 different types of these pages, but they’re similar. While at the current time, the number of pages coming through is low, I’m eager to automate the lot (or as much as humanly possible) so that I am ready if/when the website starts succeeding.

In reply to: Blog entries of subject appearing only on their pageThat was fast. Thanks, that keeps it off the main blog, would it still come up in the “smart post show” plugin? At the moment, I am using smart post show on each “species” page, to list all the articles that I have written on the subject in question.
I will have a play, and have a look
