Another update, so after cleaning out old draft events, emptying the trash, and cleaning up all orphaned events, I now and showing a 1 as a notification on that admin toolbar on events even though there are no pending events. Does anyone know how to reset that counter?
Here’s an update. I went in to settings and removed a potential 85 orphaned events. I’ve now submitted 2 events that seem to have gone through ok. Please let me know if anyone has any experience with any of this and if you think that the orphaned events was causing the problem.
Thanks

In reply to: [Admin and Site Enhancements (ASE)] Image captions aren’t importingA photographer sends them to me with the captions embedded. I’m not sure what program he uses, I can check if needed. Yes, I can give you an image as an example. How should I send that to you? I usually get 10-20 images from him and mass upload. Renaming 20 files isn’t something I really want to do, but can. I’ve just decided that I will turn that module off prior to upload and then back on after. So that’s my work around for now.

In reply to: [Admin and Site Enhancements (ASE)] Image captions aren’t importingI go to the media library and simply click the “add media file” button on the top. And then click the “Select Files” button that appears. Choose my files and click “Upload”.
As far as module, upon reviewing what I had turned on, I tested this one and it seems to be the culprit.
Image Upload Control – I had it set for 1024×1024
When I disabled it and tried to upload and image the caption came through. Let me know your thoughts please.

That fixed it for me for now. Thank you. Let us know when we can re-enable the headline analyzer please.
Here are the details of the email I received.
Howdy!
WordPress has a built-in feature that detects when a plugin or theme causes a fatal error on your site, and notifies you with this automated email.
In this case, WordPress caught an error with one of your plugins, All in One SEO.
First, visit your website (https://westhillsgazette.com/) and check for any visible issues. Next, visit the page where the error was caught (https://westhillsgazette.com/wp-admin/post-new.php) and check for any visible issues.
Please contact your host for assistance with investigating this issue further.
If your site appears broken and you can’t access your dashboard normally, WordPress now has a special “recovery mode”. This lets you safely login to your dashboard and investigate further.
To keep your site safe, this link will expire in 1 day. Don’t worry about that, though: a new link will be emailed to you if the error occurs again after it expires.

I get an email from wordpress.com that specifically tells me the AIOSEO plugin caused the error. I have not disabled it yet, but will need to very soon. Are you aware of the issue and are you actively working on a fix?
