Nevermind, I went back to my old theme, and it feels like the issue is gone.
Thank you for contacting us, as we checked your site on the AMP test we are also seeing the issue “Linked AMP version is invalid” but we are unable to find the reason for it.
The invalid is due to “Referenced AMP URL is not an AMP”.
I wrote that on my main post as well, which is why I’m here, after that error when I validate on GSC, it shows the amp page is actually valid!
Cleared cache many times as well.
If you use the theme panel the Newspaper theme provides you with, then I can confirm that the ads layout gets messed up with the content. I solved this by using the Advanced Ads plugin which had many layout and customize options.
