Maybe, the solutions could be to protect the file with a password, and share the password only for subscriber users in the welcome e-mail.
If i protect all files with the same password, a subscriber user could download all the files…

I dont think so. Really i have multiple download links ( normally one per post).
I was thinking in a pop up register window when you click in the downlable link file, but only for unregistered users…ummm…seems to be complicated
