I added the tracking code to the footer using the “Insert Header and Footer” plugin before I got your reply.
I’m going to test what I did and if it doesn’t work I’ll try your suggestion next.
Did a little googling, found and followed this
I’ll test again on Wednesday to give the code time to do it’s thing and report back on Thursday.
I have not added any Analytics account information within the theme.
I’m admittedly new to wordpress and am not sure what you mean by that.
