Thanks Romik84 for your quick response!
Unfortunately the deactivation of the plugin did not change anything.
I even completely deleted all theme files and did a fresh install. But still this is not corrected. I think there is some setting in the database, dealing with the size of the images on the posts slider. Any info on this?
