After some thought, today I realised the the web hotel service provider has the WordPress service installed in Finnish. That may be the reason why. I use WordPress in English, and do not encounter these issues often. Today I had received an e-mail from the system in Finnish, then it dawned on me that that must be the reason for the language switch.Hi James

The language switch is visible in the Google Site Kit dashboard still within the WordPress administration view.
