Thanks for reporting this and for using WPSubscription!
We’ll investigate the email issue you described: especially missing renewal and failure notifications.
Will add these as part of our upcoming fix and improvements.
Thanks

Hi, Yes you are right.
I have just fixed the role assignment bug and released it. V1.5.4. Please give it a try and it should work.BTW Thank you very much for giving us your valuable feedbacks.

Thanks againCurrently, manual subscription creation isn’t available yet. But here’s how you can do it for now:
- Just place a test order for the subscription product,
- then go to WooCommerce → Orders and mark it as “Completed.”
A subscription will be auto-created from that order.
Also, manual subscription creation from the admin panel is already on our roadmap. We know it’s important for testing and internal use, and it’s coming soon!
Appreciate your support!
Yes! You can customize emails related to subscriptions in WPSubscription. Here’s how:
- Navigate to WooCommerce → Settings → Emails.
- There, you can find the types of email notifications available for subscriptions.
- You can enable/disable emails, edit subjects, and more.
- For more advanced customization, you can override templates in your theme folder.
If you need further details on how to customize specific emails or templates, feel free to ask!
Yes, Customers Can Subscribe to More Than One Plan.
But multiple different subscription products can’t be purchased in a single cart. Customers can either:
- Increase the quantity of a subscription product, then its two licenses
- Purchase subscriptions separately in multiple orders
- Use a Variable Subscription with separate options for each plan
Each method creates individual subscriptions that can be managed separately.
