It is very simple. Just use the source page & target url without your domain name. For eg:
Source URL: myshortcut
Target URL: myshortcutlongurl
so the when you type your url http://www.mydomain.com/myshortcut
will redirect to
http://www.mydomain.com/myshortcutlongurl
