Today I went to the Visitor’s Statics plugin and everything looks fine. So apparently this is resolved, even if I am not sure why.
I can’t explain it seeing as I’ve fought with it for the last 4 days straight, and I don’t think I’ve actually changed anything. But it appears to be working for now.
I’ll re-visit this if needed at a later date.

I believe as well the problem is a display issue.
Console reports nothing (completely empty) it’s the first thing I checked, but good idea to contact them first, I had thought about contacting Shield as it was the plugin that created the problem, let me try VSP and see what they know.

So at least if I click there, I’m able to save!
you can see on that screenshot there is no save button anywhere on the overlay? and escape, enter, etc. doesn’t work

Please advise. Please note no changes to my site occurred between the time NextGen was working, and the time it wasn’t. The only thing that was done was perhaps an update of NextGen itself.

That being said, when you blamed it on the size of my images (even though I knew it wasn’t) I pretty much gave up and used the ‘background image’ feature even though it seems to mess with my image quality at times and there’s no way to control what section of the image is being displayed in the box, so I’ve had to get choosey with the kind of photos that go into it… frustrating.

In reply to: [CPT Bootstrap Carousel] CPT Bootstrap large images not centeredOk I found out the image quality problem only exists in “Unite – Featured”. If I use Large and “background image” the problem with the quality goes away..
But there remains other problems.. for example, when using “background image”, it doesn’t scale right in the responsive themes. When scaled all the way down, it gets tall and narrow, rather than the height scaling with the page, causing it to look ridiculous.
What I want to do is just be able to set it to Large, NOT select background, and to get rid of that blasted grey bar that pops up if the page gets resized quite large.

In reply to: [CPT Bootstrap Carousel] CPT Bootstrap large images not centeredSo I’m having the problem where the images aren’t “centered” and when the window is sized up, there’s a big grey bar to the right of the image taking up space. The images are large so I can’t see this being an issue with the image not being big enough.
I tried “stretching” (using background) images, and there is a major flaw with this procedure, namely that it is distorting the pixels in the image. So what was once a very crisp photo is now not-so-much, which is no good for my purposes (photography).
I don’t think “stretching” the image should be the solution to this problem. There should be a way to ‘cap’ the max size of the slider.
I want to use the “large” size, as the “medium” is too small, and yet the “large” size is too big. Why no options for capping the max width of the slider, or for inputting custom options?

In reply to: [Petfinder: Search & Rescue] Messing hard with my site's basic formattingI installed the update and the majority of the formatting issues are now resolved, however the sidebar issue is still causing problems.
I have it set to a full-width page at the moment because of the side-bar issues, unfortunately I cannot set it to the sidebar page so you can see it since people need to navigate our website frequently and it is just in poor business practice to leave such an obvious formatting error.
