Many thanks for clearing this up.
Oddly, I reached out to Stripe yesterday and was reliably enformed that a 10p product should go through, as there was no minimum spend with Stripe.So, yeah, he lied. 🙂
I am aware of using the test keys. The reason I didn’t was to make sure that everything was working as intended. My IT consultant told me she had built sites, tested them using test keys, then when she went live there were issues and it made sense to just process small payments live to ensure success.

I have been in the process of taking over my site from a developer and host.
The reason I had 2 vers of wordpress, was one was on my old hosts server whilst the other on my new server. Whilst the domain name transfer was taking place, I was able to access both.So, that explains it.
