In reply to: [Friends] Direct Messages via ActivityPub?Brilliant – yes, that’s fixed it, thanks again for sorting it so quickly.
In related news, my Fediverse enabled blogs bridged to Bluesky now have custom handles, e.g. https://bsky.app/profile/moelrhos.uk which is really neat.

In reply to: [Friends] Direct Messages via ActivityPub?Indeed I have (which turned out to be the reason people on the Fediverse I followed could not see they were being followed by me – and which you were kind enough to fix a few months ago in 3.2.3). Thanks again for looking into this.

In reply to: [Friends] Direct Messages via ActivityPub?Wow, fantastic that this is implemented already.
I haven’t tried DMs with EMA yet but I did have a go at sending a DM from one of my blogs to my Mastodon account. Unfortunately I got an error:

In reply to: [Friends] Direct Messages via ActivityPub?Many thanks for confirming that it’s not currently possible – and good to see that it might be implemented!
Yes I did try the enable Mastodon Apps plugin, but I was unable to send a DM from WordPress that way either (using Mona).

In reply to: [Friends] ActivityPub user does not see follow?I’ve just updated to 3.2.3 and this is working now – many thanks for enabling it working this way, and doing it so quickly! Among other things, I can now see my blogs from Bluesky…

In reply to: [Friends] ActivityPub user does not see follow?Ah, thanks! I can see why would be… and I guess I could rethink how I use ActivityPub on WordPress. But it would certainly be handy to be able to do this in this way. For one thing, while I am using a blog profile I can’t bridge to Bluesky unless I can follow the bridge, and it would be nice to let users on Bluesky follow the blog (almost) directly with all the benefits that brings rather than setting up a separate Bluesky account and autoposting to it.

In reply to: [ActivityPub] Approve follow request Redux@pfefferle thanks! I guess another possibility is my host made a change that I’m not aware of…

In reply to: [ActivityPub] Approve follow request ReduxHaven’t had a chance to work on this for a while, but just updated to ActivityPub 0.14.3 on WordPress 6.1.1 and I now seem to be able to follow, followers show up under ‘Users’ in WordPress and I’ve even made a test post and had it show up in my feed on my Pixelfed account. I didn’t make any changes to my hosting set up, so whatever was causing a problem for me has presumably been fixed in the latest release.

In reply to: [ActivityPub] Approve follow request Redux@opendna Thanks for that. I don’t see a way from within WordPress to see the number of followers. When I look at the profile via my Mastodon account it’s still saying 0 followers. When I cancel and try to follow again, I’m still seeing ‘Withdraw Follow Request’ rather than ‘Unfollow’ when I reload after following.

In reply to: [ActivityPub] Approve follow request Reduxmoelrhos.uk is one blog on a multisite instance (I probably should have mentioned it before). The ActivityPub Plugin is not network active, I have activated just for this site (also Webfinger).
I’m hosted on TSO Host, Apache 2.4.54, PHP 7.4.29, MySQL 5.7.39-cll-lve.
