I’m having this same issue.
Woocommerce is showing the oldest items, while I want it to display the newest or a random collection.
Have you worked out a fix to that issue yet?

@rgnicholas, Ideally, you won’t lose any customisations you’ve made with the theme customiser because that’s stored in a different place, but if you made changes to the theme itself via some other means (FTP or File Manager) then you may have issues.
Got the same issue and am now downgrading to earlier version via FTP
