Thanks for the quick reply. I’m working on a services website using BuildPro theme and the default Portfolio. It’s for a service provider who delivers a range of products and services. The home page shows a grid of portfolio categories to represent the type of service provided by the company. When a category is selected, it will display a page of all images in that category in a grid layout. None of the images show titles/descriptions, just a grid of bare images.

I’d like to enhance both the portfolio categories and the category images. I’d like to show a title and short description for the portfolio categories. For the grid of category images, I’d like to add a location and short description from the project completed. To add the custom location field, I used ACF plugin. I used the Go Portfolio plugin to create the custom post type Projects (plural) and Project (singular). I can add new Project (with title/description), but it just gets added to the list of portfolio categories to select from. I do not see a way to associate images with category and display them in a grid on a new page when the category is selected. I thought portofolio support in WordPress would have provided that as a basic feature. Perhaps I may not have it configured properly.

I should also note, I’m trying to do this without any custom coding. I imagine I can enhance BuildPro to do what I want with some additional programming, but I wanted to avoid the time it would take and the risk. Thanks for your guidance on this!
