Hi Rob,
I just emailed you a .zip file of the theme I am using. Thanks for looking into this!

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Using WP-Members with The Events CalendarHey Rob!
Thanks for checking in. Actually, I deleted WP-Members because it was overkill for what we needed, which was just a simple password-protected page. So I can’t recreate the issue. Thanks anyway!

In reply to: [WP-Members Membership Plugin] [Plugin: WP-Members] Query an SQL database?Hi Chad,
Thanks for your response. Yes, this is probably beyond what I can work with, so I will find another solution. Thank you!

In reply to: wp-members and All-In-One Events CalendarShelgies,
Did you ever get an answer to this? I am using The Events Calendar and having the same problem.
Hi Rob,
Thanks for checking in! I’m not sure if this will help, but I am using the Events Calendar on two sites, using the same WP theme for both. On one site, the calendar works fine (www.theregularjoes.com). But on this site the first event appears as the header:
You can see that I have the calendar set up so it’s on its own drop-down page from the main header. I’ve tried adding a Description custom field for that page, but it didn’t change anything. I’ve contacted the theme designer (Elegant Themes) and they think the calendar is overriding the theme settings.
Not sure if that sheds more light on the problem, but just thought I’d let you know. it would be great to figure it out!
Same issue here: I don’t want the title of the first event to appear as the header on the calendar page. I’d rather it just said “Events” or was just blank. How can I change this?

In reply to: How to create a Board of Directors pageHi! Actually, this was an incredibly easy fix — it just took me forever to figure out. I uploaded my photos to a Gallery in the Media section. Then in the caption of each photo I created an email link for the name and title, which sit right below the headshot. It works great, and was exactly what I wanted — no professional needed.
Ah, yes, I’ve figured it out now! Thank you!
Yes, right. The Events link is not showing in the header nav. When I used the plugin for the first time on another site, it showed up automatically. I didn’t have to create a custom menu. Now I’m using the exact same theme, just a different URL.
Still, I tried your suggestion, but Events doesn’t show up when I click “View All.” Am I supposed to create a separate page? I am very confused!

In reply to: Author's Avatar Inside Post With Simple Local AvatarsI want to do the exact same thing. Can you be more specific? Where does the “get_avatar” call go in the theme? I want the author profile pic to appear in each blog post. Is there a way to do this automatically?
I changed my Permalink settings to “Post Name,” which did make the slug visible in the Settings panel, but the “Events” link is still not showing up in the menu on my site. Thoughts?
By the way, I did enable “Post Name” under Permalink Settings, and now I can view and change the slug, but the Events link is still not showing up in my main homepage menu.
