I am coming to the same conclusion. My Mac’s either downloads or displays but not both and the PC’s do the right thing.

This problem is becoming very complex. First the site is for the 400 members of a hiking club. The page in question is a tablePress of hikes, maps and tracks. The page is password protected. It appears that on some PC computers my table works perfectly. On Macintoshes either the download of tracks forces the download of everything on the page until I manually purge the cache. After the purge, Maps in pdf will display and not download — until I click a Track — then everything downloads. I can sent you the link and password privately.
