    UPDATE

    When activate link is selected:

    Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error
    Default File List Cannot Be Created

    The MySQL User has all database specific privileges, and USAGE level global privileges.

    Server
    Ubuntu 16.04.2 LTS (GNU/Linux 4.4.0-79-generic x86_64)
    Server version: Apache/2.4.18 (Ubuntu)
    mysql Ver 14.14 Distrib 5.7.18, for Linux (x86_64) using EditLine wrapper
    PHP 7.0.18-0ubuntu0.16.04.1 (cli) ( NTS )
    WordPress 4.8

    Okay. Giribaz lists this forum hosted on ww.wp.xz.cn as their support forum, so I posted my question here.

    So there is no connection between the business connection between ww.wp.xz.cn and Giribaz? ww.wp.xz.cn is strictly a place for users of WordPress themes and plugins to commiserate?
