In reply to: Cannot log into back end after moving site???? I’m not looking for a job. Nor am I looking to hire someone to do a job for me. Just some assistance with a problem, since I’m trying to learn WordPress. 🙂 Is anyone else out there willing to assist?

In reply to: Cannot log into back end after moving siteI still do not have this working. Very frustrated. It was working, then I tried to move the installation to the production server. At that point I could not see anything or log into the back end. I’ve dumped the db and found references to the old location and removed that before re-importing. Now, the front page DOES show up. And I CAN get into the back end… BUT the back end looks strange, like the CSS was stripped. Any link you try to click on, on that one page that is working, points you to the file copy of the page, rather than the live page. I’m perplexed. I was thinking about trying to do a clean install, but not so sure that would work, either. Might just import my problems right back in. Here is the page, if you care to look. In reply to: Cannot log into back end after moving siteOK – I’m officially frustrated. Would someone in the Madison area be willing to meet with me personally at lunch time, or maybe I could share my desktop on Skype, to help me through this? I still can’t get in, and I need to get this site live.
