I resolved the auto update issue with whitelisting viva IPs in cloudflare, if you use cloudflare that is the issue probably.
I got the same problem, any updates on this?

Automatic events were turned OFF.
Maybe it is an issue on Facebook’s end.
Is it normal that the number of purchase events that appears in the event manager is double than the actual purchases?
For example I had 2 purchases happen and the event manager reports a total of 4 events, 2 from the browser and 2 from the server even though the deduplication ratio is 100%
True but I wasn’t using any server cache, only Cloudflare Edge cache.
Technically it shouldn’t affect the thank you page since it’s unique to the order.
Well, after a few days it seems to have been resolved on its own, no idea why the test events didn’t fire in the first place though.
No, I’ve replaced my theme’s (Flatsome) thankyou.php template with the default woocommerce template but the event doesn’t show up.
