Thanks @schutzsmith
That responsive block plugin looks promising. I’ll give it a spin.
Thanks for responding, Phi.
I realize one other thing I often need for Gutenberg blocks – custom CSS. It would be great if there’s an option to add custom CSS to any block used on a page. This is handy when you just want to style an element only on a particular page and don’t need to add the code to the main CSS file making the file more busy to manage. Thank you.

In reply to: [Advanced Popups] Offers special feature but customization is limitedThanks for considering, Ion.
What I want is to have the TP options panel collapsed by default. However, if you simply want to hide the entire thing, that can be done with CSS as well which I prefer over adding a function.

In reply to: [Core Framework] CSS class dropdown menus unstableI went to CF website and saw that the bottom right help function was just a chat bot. Not really a support ticket system. Then I found the feedback forum at feedback.coreframework.com so I made a post there. Hope that gets through.

In reply to: [Core Framework] CSS class dropdown menus unstablethanks for the response. I’ll send a support request.
Thanks for the work around tip. I was hoping there was a built in setting for it or official way to do it.
Thanks for the response and I hope the enhancement will be realized.

In reply to: [Flamingo] Only works with PHP sendmail, not external SMTPI think Flamingo only works with CF7 and not other form plugins.

In reply to: [Flamingo] Only works with PHP sendmail, not external SMTPThanks for clarification. The plugin description is misleading. It says “originally created forΒ Contact Form 7…” Well, if it was “originally” created for CF7, what else is it for now? It should just say the plugin ONLY works for CF7 to be super clear.

In reply to: [Astra] Maybe OverratedThanks for the pointer to that FSE theme. I have evaluated several FSE themes and tend not to like those the come with dozens of pre made design patterns cluttering up the system. I use Twenty Twenty Four and Kadence themes for their super light weight for performance and liability. I stay away from from presets and premade stuff. With a set of powerful design blocks, you can build and custom theme and create any design yet stay with minimal code base. It’s all about simplicity and performance.

In reply to: [Astra] Maybe OverratedPlease see my reply to the author above. I want to set body text font size to 1 REM as a relative unit for all other font sizes and spacing elements. For this to happen, you will need to set HTML with base font size in certain pixel unit (around 17px depending on how large you want the body text to be.)
Actually, I don’t even need more than half of all the nuance settings offered by the free theme. I just need a very basic and simple feature. I have to go along with using this theme for the project. FSE is the future of WP where you customize only what you need and leave out all the noise and bloat.

In reply to: [All-in-One WP Migration and Backup] UI improvement? Thanks for the timely and positive response, Yani.
I did have the feeling that there was a default assumption as you explained that many users want to include everything in a migration. Even though I use this plugin often to move sites, every time I interact with the Export screen, it feels unintuitive to check an option to exclude something instead of include – like I have to be extra alert of what I’m doing. Ticking a box is commonly associated with YES, don’t you think?
So ideally if the Yes/Include approach is used, all the available options would be checked by default. And user would check off the ones they don’t want. And settings the user chooses would stay the same the next time they come back to this screen again which also feels more intuitive this way instead of things reverting back to default. The Advanced Options panel would display all the options instead of hiding them under a dropdown menu.Thank you for your attention. Other than that, this is one of the top plugins in its category. Doesn’t mean it can’t be even better. π
