Actually there is no way to sort / change order of FAQ posts. This function will be released in next version.
About not replacing [display_faq] – tag, It’s seams that you didn’t active plugin.
It’s hard to say without any additional informations. Can you send me URL to Your website?
If you create a page in wordpress, just put this tag into the content. This tag will be replaced with your FAQ.
