In reply to: About page works in IE8, but not Home pageNope, it’s none of that. If you look closly in IE8, you might notice your content is overflowing onto your sidebar. This could be the reason why your sidebar is feeling a little shy to come out in IE8/IE6/IE7 etc.
To prove if this is the case, I want you to copy the 1st post on your homepage (exactly as it is, including the image) and past it into your about section. If the sidebar disappears in IE8 on the about page then you know what the problem is. 😉
You might be able to solve this by adding the 640px width to the .post style (that’s within your stylesheet) and see if that has any effect.

In reply to: LocalHost: Permalink questionTravel-junkie, thank you so much! I was having the same problem on my local-host. Can’t believe it was something this simple.
I would have been going in circles if it wasn’t for Travel-junkie & trainermade (who asked the question). =DForum: Plugins
In reply to: Most Commented, Most Popular and Most Recent pluginSure I have bookmarked this page and i will let you lot know as soon as i can. But right now, I a little bit busy working on my own theme & on top of that my HD crushed… arhhh! so I am trying to restore everything.
What i’ll probably do is simply upload the css files and hand out the codes you’ll need but i need some time…. best advice is to stay put here.
Give me a week or so and i should have it ready 🙂

In reply to: Most Commented, Most Popular and Most Recent pluginHey there hyrum, I wish I had asked the same question earlier, instead of searching the entire wordpress plugin database for an answer. But getting a quick answer in this support forum is rare.
I am currently developing a wordpress theme for my Static html site: http://www.Slennzer.com, basically working on keeping the same layout but making use of wordpress’s robust content management system. This had led me to face the same question you’re currently facing, so without a further ado, I recommend the following plugins:
1) To display the most recent posts, use the plugin by Nick Momrik:
http://ww.wp.xz.cn/extend/plugins/recent-posts/2) For inserting the ‘Popular posts’ use the plugin by Héctor Cabrera:
http://ww.wp.xz.cn/extend/plugins/wordpress-popular-posts/3) To display the most discussed posts (most commented) use the plugin by Nick Momrik.
http://ww.wp.xz.cn/extend/plugins/most-commented/installation/All three plugins have been tested on my local machine and work like a charm! Hopefully this should help you & other people out quite a bit or at the very least, point them towards the right direction!
The only draw back is, that you’ll need a pretty strong CSS stylesheet to hold these three elements together …which I am currently working on. ;D
But once you have got that in place, the end result would be fantastic! All the best dude,
