never mind I am being really stupid, I just set my default widgets to the shop page settings and then changed them for the other pages, Great plugin, I love it!

In reply to: Removing padding from TwentyEleven…Plus, i too have been looking for the answer to the posters problem, he wasnt lying when he said its hard to find. If you had just helped him out i wouldnt have to carry on searching instead of coming up with threads like this that are just full of ‘no i wont help you your too stupid for me’. I am angry because i am new to wordpresss and have had many questions about a lot of things and have spent a lot of time searching for answers only to find endless threads that have been replied to by esmi where she hasnt even read the questions correctly, and answered just as she has done here. It wastes my time and other peoples.
On someother posts i think people are misunderstanding me when i say ecommerce twenty eleven theme. I think people think i have 2011 with ecommerce plugin which is not the case i have ecommerce 2011 a child theme by cart press see here – http://extend.thecartpress.com/ – Does anyone have any experience with this theme. Their forum isnt answering any of my questions. Yes i have tried to chage it in style.css, it doesnt work, someoen said its because of a conflict and i have to do a custom.css. But as this is not my child theme i dont know if i can do that or if the file called rts.css is a custom.css that cartpress has made. Please help i am on a tight deadline have one week left and havent doen anything yet because i cant sort this theme out!

I know 2011 is responsive i meant is ecommerce 2011 theme responsive, a child theme of 2011 by cart press, because it is a lot wider then the 2011 theme, it says it is but i wondered if it def worked because i think 2011 width cant be very wide to keep it responsive.
I have already looked at your website rev.voodo, its very informative and i tried to change my twenty eleven width using your instructions but nothing happened. Then i noticed you say i can only increase it by 50px, i assume because it will affect the responsiveness. Which i find confusing because as i said above the theme i am using at the moment ecommerce twenty eleven- http://extend.thecartpress.com/ – is wider then that and it says it is still responsive. However for that theme i am having trouble changing the colour of the menu colour, it wont work in the style.css and i know i am doing it right so i wanted to change back to twenty eleven and increase the width. Any ideas why it doesnt work when i do it? Can i increase it wider then 1050px? Could you give me instructions?
As soon as some one replies i can always take my coming soon screen down so people can look for me.

My site isnt live so it wont help. I dont know if you read my post correctly because as I said, I cant change them in style.css, it wont work. I have read up on why it wont work and got told that there is a conflict or something and if it was my child theme then i would have to make a funtion file and a custom.css. but this isnt my shild theme this is a theme by cartpress-i think- called wordpress ecommerce. It is already a child theme, which already had a function file, so i dont know if i can make a custom css, or if the file called rts.css is their custom file.
Can anyone help that has experience with wordpress ecommerce theme? They have a forum but its more to do with the ecommerce part and not the style and no one will answer my questions.
