yep, it must be coming from Wordfence – if I disable Wordfence then the 2FA columb in the list of users goes away.

In a way i have 3 security plugins installed.

“Wordfence Security” does a lot of stuff but it doesn’t relocate the login page address whci is something I want. Their free version does have some really good reporting features and sets some basic rules in the .htaccess files – the paid version is too expensive for me witht he first tier at something like $140 per site per year. Looking at their “Firewall” settings page, much of it has to do with login security so I suspect I could disable it and not loose much other than their great reporting tools.

“IP2Location Country Blocker” lets me say I only want users from Canada and the US to be able to access my website. I also choose to only allow access to the “backend” or administrative pages to US based ip addresses. The free version only allows address database updates once per month and I have to click the update link manually. Hasn’t been an inconvenience and it seems to work really well.

“Authica” offers a nice range of security features targeted at the login system and it’s reasonably priced. I suspect it would be enough but I had multiple sites hacked a few years back and am paranoid…. I really have no clue how they gained access to my sites. I really had to get aggressive at cleaning and securing things.

I would like to see a single reports page from Authica so I get warnings about any potential issues at a glance so to speak.

That’s great that you got it working 🙂 would you be willing to share with us how you did it?

on the Mingle Forum home page click on the “Installation” tab…

    The 3rd & 4th lines are:

Create a new page for your forum to display on
-Head to the page you just created for the forum, paste [mingleforum] and save, (NOTE: Its best to paste that under the HTML tab of your page editor)

well, the good news is there IS a plug in that takes users right back to your blog home page after they log in.

The bad news is that they haven’t updated it to work with 2.7x yet so once logged in they get an error when they try to log out….

You should be able to disable the plug in with FTP – just delete or rename the plugin….

This worked for me – I found it on Osterman’s blog:

You have to run this setup script to complete the upgrade:
