The initial install should show the jobs page located at /jobs/ where you can then modify the Permalink name to something like careers.
I can actually see this at kaalo.com/jobs/ The reason you are observing the
Message about not having jobs available is the second install is ?jobs-2/ cannot link tot he jobs you may have set up initially while it was set at /jobs/There is now a conflict and you may need to clean up your DB by accessing the file structure directly from phpMyAdmin. This may also have happened due to a plugin and or theme conflict initially.

You should be able to designate the default /job / page layout as full width “no sidebar”, looks like it’s using whatever your themes default page setting is.
