Nevermind with that. Turns out that’s exactly how it works, QW just provides the queries I need, your plugin does the rest.
For anyone interested, the necessary bits are:

I’m using QW to have multiple queries on the same single page layout. Getting your plugin to work with that is analogous to what you describe under the “Multiple Sets or Posts” guide, I assume?
Thanks for the swift response man, do_shortcode worked like a charm for what I wanted to do.
It does seem to be missing, same as the Tags. It might be possible to get either by using arguments or some such, but no clue.
