As you can see, when the image is optimized through ShortPixel and I’m preloading the LCP image for the jpg version, it’s loading the webp version. And the audit is through GTMetrix Chrome Desktop. So no browser compatibility issue. Any clue about how I can preload it even when the image is optimized? Anything wrong with the script I’m using?

After I removed the image from optimization using ShortPixel, the problem has been gone. So looks like HFCM is not compatible with ShortPixelYes, the problem is solved. Thank you!

Didn’t notice critical CSS was activated. It had been activated earlier I started optimizing it. As I didn’t regenerate, I guess that’s why the font face was still there.Thanks for the help!

You’re the author for both of the plugins? I mean official AMP and the plugin you just suggested?What if in future I try to add some functionality that must require some JS and there’s no alternative to it? Isn’t there a way to allow some special JS on the amp site?
