I actually tried to increase these values. It somehow helped… Things crashed a bit smoother 🙂

Since I had to change hosting for other matters anyway, I kept sorting things out and made a decision regarding our new hosting company.

Result : galleries – as well as many other plugins (automated backup among other things *cough cough*) that didn’t work or were a pain to get to work – started to work like a charm.
