Using the Neve Child Theme and having the same issue: The error message is
`Notice: wp_enqueue_script() was called incorrectly. “wp-editor” script should not be enqueued together with the new widgets editor (wp-edit-widgets or wp-customize-widgets).
Installed the Classic Widgets Plugin and that does not work.
Is there an eta for this fix?

This worked for me, under Privacy tab, make sure your video is public and embedded anywhere, not on your specific domain. Then look at the browser bar and get the url which may look like: https://vimeo.com/manage/XXXXXXXXX/general#privacy. Change the url to https://vimeo.com/XXXXXXXXX where X=your video’s number, and then try to add items, Vimeo.
Hope that helps someone. This plugin is amazing, works well with Vimeo.
