Thank you,
We figured it out.
It was an RSS setting in the Yoast plugin that was creating the footer text.
All good now. We will hopefully be going live soon.
Thanks for a great plugin and super fast support! It is there by default, I would like to remove it.
This is pulling from company-owned sources. We are just aggregating the content, but do not want to link back to the source. That is why we wanted the canonical tag, to avoid any negative SEO. How can I hide the footer and the links back to the original blog and blog post? Thanks for implementing this so quickly, it is exactly what we needed.
However I have an additional question:
How do you remove the link back to the original source? I do not want to see the links and the text that go to the original blog post and website.
Is there a way to remove that? I do not see an option in the settings.
Maybe I am missing something? You are absolutely correct.
Thanks for pointing this out.
I was able to test and the discount works fine.
I have some issues with the display, but that is because I have a complex product using a gravity form with pricing options. That will be configurations on my end.
Your plugin seems to work great.
Thank you.Forum: Everything else WordPress
In reply to: Why do plugin changelogs not have dates?I just thought there would be some template that is followed.
I see JetPack does it correctly. It only makes sense to have the date of the version update along with the number and description.
I guess I am the only one that gets bothered by this.
The truth is, as long as everything is working fine, I never have to worry about it. But as soon as something goes haywire, then I start digging and it would be nice to know if the plugin was recently updated and then updated again a few days later (to possibly fix a known issue for example).
Just a suggestion.
Not really sure how to get this out to the developers. I guess when I make my first plugin I will make sure to include the dates in the changelog. 🙂Forum: Reviews

In reply to: [Hotjar Connecticator] Failurehave you tried deleting the hotjar directory that is created in the
/wp-content/plugins/directory.
FTP into your server and delete the hotjar directory.
You should then be able to re-install a new fresh version.
This will erase any changes you have made, but it sounds like that is what you want to do.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Safe Redirect Manager] I cannot get safe-redirect-manager to workSometimes your hosting provider my not be allowing certain pages to be accessed.
For instance on WPengine, they automatically block .ASPX pages, so they will no redirect no matter what you do.
I migrated a .NET site to WordPress and had to add the redirects from the old .aspx pages. I contacted support and they enabled it so that my site no longer blocked those pages and now it works just fine.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Redirection] Invalid group ID errorI am getting the same error: “Invalid group ID”
Prior to this update, we were just getting a blank page.
Any help is appreciated. We did not find a solution to this problem.
But we did find a fix for those in need of a way to post to Facebook, Twitter and Linkedin.
We switched to twitterfeed.com and use their service to publish our feed.
While this does not fix the solution for Publicize. It did solve our dilemma and so far has been working great for the past month or so.
I just thought I would share if anyone is in need of an alternative. We have the same problem.
Our is setup to only post to Facebook and sometimes it does and sometimes it does not.
I am sorry that I cannot provide more information at this time.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Plugin: NextGen Gallery] Linking back to album listing page from gallerySame issue here.
I have been reading through support posts (some dating back 4 years to 2008 or so) that all reference this feature. But none have provided an elegant solution thus far.
Most of the ‘solutions’ involve hacking the code or template files which can accomplish what we need done. Using PHP or CSS you can limit the link to only show on the gallery pages and not the main album page, but I do not want to have issues applying any updates.
I do not want to hack the code either. So hopefully we can keep this alive and eventually there will be a solution.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Plugin: WooCommerce] Cart broken/not adding productsI actually resolved my issue by contacting my host.
Something had happened with an upgrade via Plesk control panel and one of the configuration files was missing from the root folder.
I am sorry that I do not have more information, it was several weeks ago that this was resolved and I do not recall the details.
The one item to take away is that, for my issue, it was not WordPress or WooCommerce. It was a server issue.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Plugin: WooCommerce] Cart broken/not adding productsThis problem just appeared for me as well.
It was working fine about a week ago.
I am just starting to troubleshoot now, and this thread was at the top of my search results.
Has anyone found a resolution in the woothemes support forums possibly?I was testing this out a few weeks ago and really like it as a back up solution. It looks like it is no longer supported according to an earlier thread on this forum.
Any other good alternatives?
