I will deeply appreciate if you can answer my second bit as well. Does the number of child site maps matter in crawling and crawling speed? I have over 70.
Also, Since it crawls based on last modified date, it won’t ignore the older child sitemaps, right?

Can you please let me know how resource intensive this new update is? Since the sitemap is now virtual, does it add more strain on the servers? The reason I ask is we have over 70 child site maps.
Also does having that many child sitemaps have any effect on crawling and crawling speed?
Thanks again for this great plugin.
So is it best not to upgrade it?
