I see, but my issue is that this statement is false, at least on my website?
if the font isn’t used on the page your browser shouldn’t request it. So it shouldn’t be loaded.
It is still loading in fonts not used, like I said, I only use Lato, and the page does not use italics yet the Lato italic fonts are still loading in.
