In reply to: Unable to update wp theme on xamppThanks DionDesigns! I tried this method without results. I deactivated Woo and it didn’t work, so I tried deactivating all plugins and same thing: unable to update the theme. The theme comes with a plugin that is a toolkit for the same theme. I can update that plugin without any trouble. The plugin has the same user as the theme, so it should not be a problem to update the main theme, but the fact is that there is a problem updating the main theme.

In reply to: Unable to update wp theme on xamppHi esmi! Thanks for answering. I can´t download a copy of the theme because it is a premium theme. On the other hand, I will like to fix the problem in case another update comes in. I contacted the theme developer and he says the problem is on the connection between the server and WP. What I don´t understand is the fact that I CAN update WP, Woo and plugins, but NOT the theme. If I don´t update the main theme I get some of the Woocommerce files outdated error message. Some people say that I need to set the theme as a user on xampp with privileges, others say that it is a matter of memory (now I have it at memory_limit:128m), and some others suggest to set all privileges to 777, which I don´t think is a good idea. The curious thing is that I can update everything except for the main theme. Some of the error messages I’ve got are “briefly under maintenance”/ “Update failed: Internal Server Error”/”Update Failed: <!DOCTYPE html> Maintenance Briefly unavailable for scheduled maintenance. Check back in a minute”.
Hope you can help! Regards
