Just wanted to leave an update. after some digging I removed W3 Total Cache and so far have been incident free for one week!
Oddly, I have seen better performance without W3 Total Cache installed so I am leaving it off.

Yes, I am getting the “-1” either logged in or logged out of the site. If I clean the cache for each feed, it starts working again. As a matter of fact its doing it now. you can go to http://www.douglascountyhog.com/events to it in action.
I love the plugin, don’t get me wrong. I don’t give out five stars very often unless it is a perfect experience. With that being said, I am having a caching issue that is requiring me to clear the feed cache once a week. I am not sure if it is something I am doing wrong, a conflict with W3 Total Cache, or a bug in the plugin.
